Still life masters
Most of what we see is not important. But there's a lot of thing we see that could be important, if only we give them a chance. Rather than quickly judging your kitchen, your desk or that little shop across the road, relax your judgements and like a masterful painter, aim to see what's really there.

day 2 - Sep 4, 2023 with coffee, looks are less important, because it's really just this liquid carrier for the caffeine. If you really need caffeine, it doesn't matter what form it comes in. the first time I tried to kick coffee I found myself drinking Coca Cola - something I hadn't done for years.

I'm not addicted to coffee, but I get killer headaches if I deviate from my 1 cup per day. I would like to be able to skip a day once in a while without feeling like demons are trying to rip out my brain. My idea is to space out the caffeine (eg. 50mg at 7am 50mg at 10am) and then lower the dosage! Sep 3, 2023
Introverted Intuition (Ni)

#carljung #personality #mbti #intuition For a long time, I thought Introverted Thinking (Ti) was my dominant cognitive function. But I just think a lot (like most people). I'm actually more of an Introverted Intuitive. I've ignored intutiton my whole life, but we've evolved to have this function because it can be really useful as a navigation through life - especially for big decisions. Read th...
Exercise for the sake of your senses
Переглядів 55Рік тому
Swimming laps could help build muscle, but also sort of your senses. Here are three ways that physical activity could help to strengthen your senses (along with your heart and bones): Soothe: When your nerves aren’t frazzled, you can sense better, and vice versa. Vigorous exercise can calm the nervous system. Sharpen: Even something simple like a kicking drill with flippers is a great exercise ...

We build and maintain personas throughout our lives. We also do the same with our bodies, creating 'physical personas'. This can get unhealthy when we obsess and over identify with them. It's probably healthier to approach diet and exercise thinking what makes you unique. We lift weights to look good. And when we look good we will feel good right? We look externally to places like instagram to ...
Eating on Auto-pilot
Переглядів 32Рік тому
Do you ever spill food? Leave burners on? Burn your tongue on hot food because you're eating so fast? Most of us, most of the time, eat on 'autopilot'. Diets are helpful in some ways, because they can break habits and make us more conscious of what we are eating. But in general, we need to relax about restriction, because our bodies are naturally pretty good at maintaining energy etc. #diet #ke...
Eat first with your stomach

To shift slightly away from calorie algorithms and prison-like diets consider the bodily sensation that has helped humans eat since, well, forever: Satiety. It’s a fiendishly complex process, but all you need to know is that if you are human and possess a functional brain, it will probably tell you when your stomach is empty or full. Eastbound & Down - Mermen V Ruckus
"Odd times. Took your mind" love this show .
The Manager's reply to an insolent Kenny: <<about to tell him to sit down and shut up >>, then "O...H-KAY!" Best part of the Scene.
They wouldn't be using used baseballs at this level. The ball in his hand is dirty and knicked, professional, at any level, would have tossed that ball the moment it was dinged
10/10 perfect moment 🥹
This one's for you Shane dog
John rocker for president ❤
Stevie!!!
😊 "Promosm"
Texas needs to call up Powers right now
Rainbow Arabia brought me here
1:09 😊 "Conan!! What is best in life...??"
Grim Creepas up in this B
How is that first pitch a strike that was way high
This got me fuckin hype
#Thermosmerman
Love it😂😅 what's the song??😊
Best comedy series HBO ever had. This show would never be played on tv these bitchy days..
Greatest entrance ever. And on Free Battery Night, too.
The best part about this show is how little he looks like an actual baseball player
You've obviously never watched baseball. Abreu pitches as of right now for the astros and has the same body type as him. Many more examples too
@@filthyfrank.5 its his glove, cleats, the way he wears his pants it’s not just his body lmaoo
@Billy well there is another abreu on the astros who plays 1st base. He tucks the bottom of his pants under his cleats.
@@filthyfrank.5 bro stop making excuses for a comedy show. He doesn’t look anything like a baseball player and that was the whole point
I know it's just a dumb show but I don't understand why the producers can't find extras that just played varsity ball or something so they won't look like idiots out there. Like the catcher looked like he had never thrown a ball in his life.
I can't lie, I was kinda hoping he would take that guy's eye out with that last pitch 😄
Fuck em up!
Is that Chris Evans?
I just used this same method when telling my lead I was leaving for another team
Song?
Rainbow Arabia - Without You
Show is so good I can feel it in my plums
I used to think Ricky Vaugn’s Wild Thing intro was the greatest pitcher walk… then I seen this.
You'd think they could've spent a couple of bucks and hired someone who could teach him how to throw a ball....
Lmao who named his team the Mermen
One the greatest moments in sports history.
To this day! Le Steroid couldn't hit Kenny Powers.
@@nevadascaredme7436 So...one fictional character could not hit another fictional character?
Could you imagine a Pitcher this arrogant in real life? Man, baseball could use it. Also, I remember the steroid era of baseball, it was GREAT! One sport definitely recommend bunch of moose with juice. Jacked to heck batters that looked more like defensive tackles from the NFL swinging and stoping bats like they were PingPong paddles. The BEST!
learn.
Struck that monkey out....not you Dontrelle.
Strike, b!tch.
Your Fuckin Out.. Kenny Powers is the G O.A.T.
_Eastbound & Down_ is one of the more fascinating shows ever made. it's like Danny McBride and Co. grew bored with the show's success and decided, on purpose, to torpedo the show by making the lead protagonist _way_ beyond unlikable. that last season is so hateful I couldn't even finish it. and for that I give kudos. many shows get more likable and boring as they go. this went the other way, making the LEAD CHARACTER so awful and repetitively so that it actually got boring. which is at least _interesting,_ even if its boring. somehow.
His throw is so bad haha
Lol. Ohhhkayyy!!! Hell yeah!!
Stevie!
I love how KP and Reg Mackworthy buried the hatchet after Kenny knocked his fuckin eye out
Respect.
Ivan's such a hater
Whats the name of the song
Rainbow Arabia - Without You
This show is like a learning from life
This show is pure fucking gold. How this didn't explode into phenomenal stardom is beyond me.
We all know why sadly.
@@Despond No. I don't know why. Seriously.
