Still life masters
Most of what we see is not important. But there's a lot of thing we see that could be important, if only we give them a chance. Rather than quickly judging your kitchen, your desk or that little shop across the road, relax your judgements and like a masterful painter, aim to see what's really there.

day 2 - Sep 4, 2023 with coffee, looks are less important, because it's really just this liquid carrier for the caffeine. If you really need caffeine, it doesn't matter what form it comes in. the first time I tried to kick coffee I found myself drinking Coca Cola - something I hadn't done for years.

I'm not addicted to coffee, but I get killer headaches if I deviate from my 1 cup per day. I would like to be able to skip a day once in a while without feeling like demons are trying to rip out my brain. My idea is to space out the caffeine (eg. 50mg at 7am 50mg at 10am) and then lower the dosage! Sep 3, 2023

I'm actually more of an Introverted Intuitive. Exercise for the sake of your senses

Swimming laps could help build muscle, but also sort of your senses. Here are three ways that physical activity could help to strengthen your senses (along with your heart and bones): Soothe: When your nerves aren’t frazzled, you can sense better, and vice versa. Vigorous exercise can calm the nervous system. Sharpen: Even something simple like a kicking drill with flippers is a great exercise ...

We build and maintain personas throughout our lives. We also do the same with our bodies, creating 'physical personas'. This can get unhealthy when we obsess and over identify with them. It's probably healthier to approach diet and exercise thinking what makes you unique. We lift weights to look good. And when we look good we will feel good right? We look externally to places like instagram to ...
Eating on Auto-pilot

Do you ever spill food? Leave burners on? Burn your tongue on hot food because you're eating so fast? Most of us, most of the time, eat on 'autopilot'. Diets are helpful in some ways, because they can break habits and make us more conscious of what we are eating. But in general, we need to relax about restriction, because our bodies are naturally pretty good at maintaining energy etc. #diet #ke...
Eat first with your stomach

To shift slightly away from calorie algorithms and prison-like diets consider the bodily sensation that has helped humans eat since, well, forever: Satiety. It’s a fiendishly complex process, but all you need to know is that if you are human and possess a functional brain, it will probably tell you when your stomach is empty or full. _Eastbound & Down_ is one of the more fascinating shows ever made. it's like Danny McBride and Co. grew bored with the show's success and decided, on purpose, to torpedo the show by making the lead protagonist _way_ beyond unlikable. that last season is so hateful I couldn't even finish it. and for that I give kudos. many shows get more likable and boring as they go. this went the other way, making the LEAD CHARACTER so awful and repetitively so that it actually got boring. which is at least _interesting,_ even if its boring. somehow.
